Sacramental Preparation

Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation fully initiates Catholics into the life of the Church. Confirmation preparation begins with an overnight retreat where candidates will be able to further explore their faith development and relationship to Christ and the community of the Church. Retreats are held at Oakhurst Retreat Center in Whitinsville along with Confirmation candidates from our cluster parishes, Sacred Heart and St. Mary’s in Milford. Parish preparation consists of 5 classes that are held on Sunday mornings and one Saturday workshop.

At Sacred Heart, we are committed to provide personal attention to all of our parishioners by providing an Eli Minister, who is trained to guide individuals and families through the sacramental process. The Eli minister will explain the process for preparing for Confirmation and assist you in registering for preparation classes.
