Justice and Service Team
The purpose of the Justice and Service Team is to provide direction for the Social Service needs of the parish, local and universal communities and to act as the primary resource and catalyst for the work of Social Justice, in compliance with the Catholic social teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. The work of the Justice and Service Team enables the entire parish community to put the social teaching of the Church into action.

Daily Bread Food Pantry
This food pantry, which is located in Milford, serves area families who are in need. Haiti Mission Team
Sacred Heart Parish supports the parish of St. Gerard in the Diocese of Les Cayes, Haiti through a variety of efforts. While much of the parish support takes the shape of financial gifts, volunteers are needed for other tasks associated with this ministry.

Ministry of Hope
Members of this ministry provide support to those who are grieving during the time immediately after the death of a loved one. Ministers are needed to provide support and comfort in the months following the funeral service.

Seasons of Hope
Members of this ministry provide warm and sincere support in a group setting to those who have lost a loved one and are having difficulty coping with that loss. Facilitators are needed to guide group discussion.

Ministry of Care
Ministers of Care bring communion to those who are confined to their homes and nursing homes. They also spend time in prayer and fellowship with these parishioners. Ministers of Care foster a living link between the Body of Christ at Sacred Heart and parishioners who are unable to attend parish functions. Older teens who have been confirmed may become a minister of care!

Mustard Seed
On the third Tuesday of each month, Sacred Heart parishioners prepare, deliver, and serve a dinner at the Mustard Seed. The Mustard Seed is a non-profit organization that serves the homeless and low income families and individuals in Worcester.

St. Vincent de Paul
St. Vincent de Paul serves the disadvantaged populations of the community. St. Vincent de Paul provides compassion and support to individuals in need. The Love Loaves collections are one way in which the parish supports this important ministry.

Thrift Shop
The Sacred Heart Thrift Shop receives donated clothing items which are sold to the public. It is open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. every Thursday except in July and August and all proceeds benefit the parish.

Hospital Ministers of Care
Hospital Ministers of Care bring Communion to those who are patients at Milford Regional Hospital every Wednesday morning. Ministers must be confirmed and must be free on Wednesday mornings to go to the hospital. Training is provided.
