Finance Team members work with our pastor, the parish staff and the other teams to oversee the financial health of the parish. Major duties include reviewing budgets, investigating cost saving ideas and keeping the members of the parish informed about our financial status and plans.
The Finance Committee consists of the following Ministries.


Collection Counters: The Collection Counters do just that - count the weekly collection and prepare the deposit slip on Sunday morning after the 8:30 Mass. They work on a rotating basis, so no one has to give up his Sunday morning more than about once a month. The job requires responsibility, discretion and nimble fingers for the adding machine!

Fun/Fund Event Counters: These volunteers work with the teams putting on the Parish Fun/Fund Events by accounting for the income and expenses of these events. They count the money received, collect the receipts for expenses, and prepare a final report showing money in, money out and the list of reimbursement checks required.

Building and Grounds: This team focuses on ensuring the repair, on-going maintenance and/or construction of our buildings and grounds here at Sacred Heart.
