Scheduling Mass Intentions

As of July 1, 2006, Sacred Heart will expand the scheduling of Mass intentions to include the 5:00 PM and 8:30 AM Masses each weekend, to accommodate families who are unable to attend weekday Masses.
The name (s) of the person (s) being remembered at Mass will be announced at the beginning of Mass, included in the Prayers of the Faithful, (along with others who may have died in the recent past), and during the Eucharistic Prayer. The names of your intentions will also be published in the parish bulletin.
In order to be fair to everyone, the following guidelines have been adopted:

- Mass intentions will be accepted for the 5:00 PM Vigil Mass on Saturday, 8:30 AM Mass on Sunday, and the 9:00 AM Mass on weekdays.

- Major Feasts, such as Christmas and Easter, etc. will be celebrated for "The Parish Family" only, therefore are unavailable for individual bookings. A complete list of these dates is available in the parish office.

- Families that schedule Mass intentions will be invited to present the offertory gifts at that Mass.

- Masses will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

- Mass intentions will be scheduled on a quarterly basis. Presently, Masses are being scheduled from now through the end of August.

- Up to 3 Masses may be scheduled per year as Weekend Masses from one individual/family; any additional Mass requests can be scheduled on weekdays

- There is a $10 stipend for each Mass intention
